I purchased my first digital compact camera in 2001 as a way of recording my fell-walking in the Lake District. Since then I have taken thousands of photos to document my walks but have also discovered a love for landscape photography which has led me to purchase a digital SLR, slow down, stop snapping away as much and spend more time composing my images and try to get the best out of light and conditions.

Photos taken while out fell-walking can be seen on my Lakeland Fells website.
